Euganei Hills

The Euganei Hills, were formed amog 34 and 33 million years ago, they are not a mountain chain. Every hill is the result of a specific Earth’s surface and on consequence spook not an unique form, but also an own soil composition and minerals. This explain the existence of many separated hills. Between 30 and 40 million years ago, this vasty area was nearly all completely covered with water not much deep. The Euganei Hills are a result of a series of seismic stone movements. In some cases these movements caused the      reascent of fusee lava and gas that have done a pressure on the Earth’s surface without break her.  The Hills with a strange rounded form , it remind a soap bubble, are the result of this stony forming. Others hills, instead, have a conic form which normally are volcanos, although they aren’t a real volcanos, because the eruption was never happened. There aren’t in any case crater forming in their heights ,neither rests of solidified lava and for this reason we can suppose that isn’t a volcanic form. Anyway,almost  all hills , have a volcanic corps.

Territory

Euganei Hills are a Regional Park in Veneto which is situated in an hilly ares of volcanic origin of circa 19 thousand hectare . the territory include 15 common, 5 of these reenter in the turistic sistem of Thermal Euganee. The clime of Euganei Hills is generally mild, and also  this area was described like a corner of Tuscany. In the areas which there is a mediterranean clime grow up florid olive grove and cypress-tree and, on spring, the air smell like base broom and other plants present in the central and meridional Italy. The steep versant in the hills generate an incredible variety of micro-clime; if in a  mountain’s versant the clime can be hot because it is expound in the south, the other side can be very cold because it is expound in the north. The vegetation in the Euganei Hills is so rich and vary that, according some estimates,include over 1/5 of all the variety of plants present in Italy. The spontaneous flora is extremely different and we can find Nordic plants like Indian fig. The territory is so rich of plants and rare animals that in 1989 became a REGIONAL PAK and is protected by the building abuse and industrialization. Euganei Hills have always this beauty which for centuries have interested a lot of visitors and reach his maximus shininess in spring. The Regional Park of Euganei Hills isn’t only a natural reservation, but offer also places of historical interest. Visiting the small country and the pretty town arranged in a romantic and fantastic landscape, we have the sensation of get back to time. The Street of Wine in the Wuganei Hills was disseminator of the inscription of Euganei Hills in the list of Human Programme and Biosphere of Unesco. This process have seen the involvement of the principal carriers of public and privat interest in the territory and want be an action for the adhesion strategy of turistic development.
